<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a heat shielding cover while improving durability of an exhaust manifold, and to suppress deterioration of an elastic member of a mount bracket. <P>SOLUTION: In a heat shielding cover device for a vehicle exhaust manifold, an engine is arranged so that a crankshaft is directed in a vehicle front-rear direction between a pair of right and left side frames of a vehicle and a cylinder shaft is tilt to direct an exhaust pipe mounting surface obliquely downward, the engine is supported at a vehicle body by a mount bracket below the exhaust pipe mounting surface by an elastic member, an exhaust manifold is mounted to the exhaust pipe mounting surface, and a heat shielding cover covering an exhaust branch pipe is mounted to the exhaust manifold. In the heat shielding cover device, the heat shielding cover is divided into front and rear heat shielding covers continuous in the vehicle front-rear direction, an overlapping part obtained by overlapping a rear part of the front heat shielding cover and a front part of the rear heat shielding cover with each other at an outer periphery of a converging part where the exhaust branch pipes converge is formed at the heat shielding cover, and the overlapping part is disposed above the elastic member in the vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
