PURPOSE: A system for supporting group purchase of vessel fuel and a method thereof are provided to conclude a long term contract at group purchase of vessel fuel or vessel oil from a vessel oil supplying company. CONSTITUTION: A member company terminal(110) provides a group purchase plan of vessel fuel to each member company registered for group purchase of the vessel fuel. A sponsor terminal(130) concludes a group purchase contract for the vessel fuel with one or more selling companies based on the group purchase plan. The sponsor terminal remits money for the vessel fuel to a selling company. A domestic selling company and a foreign selling company are included in the selling companies at a fixed rate.
