PURPOSE: A pipe corrosion detecting device is provided to prevent an operation delay and accidents caused by an unexpected damage of a pipeline by properly taking a step before a damage of the pipeline. CONSTITUTION: A pipe corrosion detecting device(10) comprises a band(12) and a detecting part(20). The band is coiled up on an outer circumference of the pipeline(100). The detecting part installed in the band detects a band expansion according to a corrosion of the pipeline. The detecting part comprises a base plate(22), a moving plate(26), a joint, an elastic spring(28), and a detecting switch(30). The base plate is installed in a side leading end of the band. The moving plate is inserted into a guide bar(24) to be slid, thereby being installed to be moved with respected to the base plate. |
