PURPOSE: An expansion access block applying method, and a device in a wireless communication system are provided to determine whether or not an access of a network is possible before transmitting an access request message, thereby attempting the access of the network corresponding to a determined result. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(810) determines whether or not a radio resource control(RRC) connection setting corresponds to a first reason or a second reason. When the RRC connection setting corresponds to the first reason, the control unit performs a setting operation for not applying the RRC connection setting to expansion access limit. When the RRC connection setting corresponds to the second reason, a confirmation is conducted to confirm whether or not the expansion access limit is applied corresponding to system information block setting received from a base station. The control unit applies the expansion access limit corresponding to a confirmed result.
