<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reception system, a reception device, a display device, and an image receiver, which report contents of a program being broadcast while performing wall-picture processing. <P>SOLUTION: While performing the wall-picture processing for displaying an image based upon previously stored image data on the display device 2, the reception device 1 receives a broadcasting signal, extracts an image from video of a broadcast program, and transmits an image based upon image data representing the extracted image, to the display device 2. The display device 2 displays the image based upon the image data from the reception device 1, mixed with the image displayed through the wall-picture processing. Hence, the image showing the contents of the program being broadcast over each channel is displayed during the wall-picture processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
