PURPOSE: An indoor location recognition system and a location recognition method thereof are provided to accurately determine a location by supporting multiple cells or multiple tags in a wireless sensor network. CONSTITUTION: One or more location recognition devices(110) include a tag. The location recognition device transmits packets for determining a location. A coordinator anchor(120d) selects a specific location recognition device for determining the location from the one or more location recognition device by allocating time slots. A plurality of anchors responds for the packets transmitted from the selected specific location recognition device. The location recognition device determines a location by measuring packet response time from the anchors.
