The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1) for heat-generating devices, which comprises: a first substantially-planar channel (2) defining a dimension (X) for the circulation of a coolant fluid (F) and a dimension (Y) transverse to the circulation dimension (X); and a conducting plate (3) having one side (3a) in thermal contact with the heat-generating device, the other side (3b) thereof forming one of the major surfaces of the channel (2). The invention also comprises a plurality of heat-conducting fins (5) that project from the plate (3) into the channel (2), said fins being distributed such that the fin linear density (?al) in the transverse dimension (Y) is variable in the circulation dimension (X), meaning that varied temperature profiles can be obtained in a controlled manner, which makes the invention suitable for the cooling of photovoltaic concentrator cells.
