PURPOSE: A device for automatically calculating a postal charge is provided to accurately and quickly calculate the postal charge once a user puts a postal matter on a weighing plate. CONSTITUTION: A postal matter is placed on a weighing plate(111). A weight measuring unit(130) measures the weight of the placed postal matter. A standard measuring unit(150) measures the wideness and thickness of the postal matter. A control unit calculates a postal charge by referring to a pre-stored postage database, weight data, and standard data transmitted from the weight measuring unit and standard measuring unit. |
