<p>PURPOSE: A terminal including a touch screen capable of precisely painting an image and a control method thereof are provided to reduce operation for displaying or transmitting a touch trace to another terminal by storing route data according to the touch trace after changing the data into pixel units during final calculation/storage/management. CONSTITUTION: A coordinate allocating unit(120) allocates specific coordinates to an input symbol. A display control unit(110) displays the input symbol on a specific position on a touch screen corresponding to the specific coordinates. A touch generation sensing unit(130) senses touch input on the touch screen. A touch coordinate calculating unit(140) calculates touch coordinates corresponding to the touch input by using information received from the touch generation sensing unit. An effective touch determining unit(150) determines whether the calculated touch coordinates belong to an effective range from the specific coordinates allocated to the input symbol.
