<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of the transmission quality of a network system in which an intensity-modulated optical signal and a phase-modulated optical signal are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transmission device relaying and transmitting a wavelength-multiplexed signal light composed of an intensity-modulated optical signal and a phase-modulated optical signal through a transmission path includes: route switching units 61, 63, and 64 that selectively switch transmission paths, which are transmission destination routes, for the inputted wavelength-multiplexed signal light; an information collection unit 2 that collects network management information relative to characteristics of transmission paths constituting a network to which the optical transmission device is applied and a modulation method of a transmission optical signal; and a control unit 3D that controls a route switching setting by the route switching units 61, 63, and 64 on the basis of the management information collected by the information collection unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
