<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation form changing method for an existing building, capable of executing foundation base isolation renovation of the existing building without being adversely affected by soundness and construction quality of an existing pile for supporting the existing building. <P>SOLUTION: A lower part of an existing building 1 supported by a pile foundation is excavated to expose a footing 2 and an existing pile 3, a pressure-proof board 9 is constructed at an excavation bottom 6 in the state of being structurally edge-cut from the existing pile 3, and then a pile head of the existing pile 3 is cut and removed in the state of supporting an upper load by the pressure-proof board 9 through a jack 11. Thereafter, a seismic isolator C is installed between the pressure-proof board 9 and the footing 2. Thus, the existing building 1 is base-isolated and a foundation form is changed from a pile foundation to a direct foundation by the pressure-proof board 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
