The device has a light barrier base body (1) including a slotted hole. Openings for a safety one-way light barrier are arranged at a lower end of a guide roller (3). A holder for a tension spring (4) is arranged at an upper end of the guide roller. The spring is connected with a movable support shaft sensor (5) that is introduced on a support shaft of the guide roller before the slotted hole of the base body during assembly. The base body is made of plastic or metal. The openings and cavities are provided in the base body for accommodating the sensor and an electronic circuit of the barrier.
