PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition capable of readily enhancing foamability, and provide a hair cosmetic article.

SOLUTION: An oxidative hair dye is used in frothy dosage form, and is applied to hair in such dosage form. A hair dyeing article includes the oxidative hair dye 10 and a closable container 20. The oxidative hair dye 10 contains an amphoteric surfactant, and its frothy dosage form results from foaming by shaking of the oxidative hair dye 10. The purpose of the closable container 20 is to foam up its content by shaking.
