<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer device of an internal combustion engine, which determines the relative rotational position of both balancer shafts even if an oil pump is provided at the end of a driven-side balancer shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The balancer device of an internal combustion engine includes a two-face width part provided to the small-diameter shaft 9c of the driven-side balancer shaft 9 which is visually observed from the outside of a housing 7, an inner rotor 27 which transfers rotational force through insertion of the small-diameter shaft 9c into a drive hole 27a formed with the two-face width in the inner circumference, a first notched part formed by notching one end outer circumference of the driven-side balancer shaft, a second notched part 9f provided to one leading edge of circular arc portion of the small-diameter shaft 9c, and a space part 40 formed between the second notched part 9f and the drive hole 27a. When the detecting projection 38b of a detecting jig 38 can be inserted into the space part through a large-diameter hole 39 of the housing 7 and a fitting hole 26a, both balancer shafts are determined to be in a correct rotational phase, while the detecting projection can not be inserted into the space part, the shafts are determined to be deviated in the rotational phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
