GROUND FAULT DETECTION DEVICE, GROUND FAULT DETECTION METHOD, PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER GENERATION SYSTEM, AND GROUND FAULT DETECTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect ground faults with certainty and shorten time required for the detection of ground faults.

SOLUTION: In a ground fault detection device 1, two solar cell strings 1031, 103n are disconnected from the photovoltaic power generation system 100 by executing various functions of an arithmetic control section 5, one solar cell string 103n is measured by a measurement 3 at the same time when the other solar cell string 1031before the measurement is charged and discharged by a charge/discharge part 4. The charge/discharge of the solar cell string 1031is executed previously at the same timing of the measurement of the solar cell string 103nso as to measure the solar cell string 1031immediately after connecting the solar cell string 1031to the measurement 3 in a latter step.
