<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for establishing a security association between a client and a service node for the purpose of pushing information from the service node to the client. <P>SOLUTION: The client and a key server share a base secret. The method comprises sending a request for generation and provision of a service key from the service node to the key server. The method comprises the steps of: identifying the client and the service node in the request; generating the service key at the key server using identification information of the client and the service node, the base secret, and additional information and transmitting the service key to the service node together with the additional information; transferring the additional information from the service node to the client; and generating the service key using the received additional information and the base key at the client.
