FIELD: measurement engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: foil or film provided with first stamped hologram is prepared and the second stamped hologram is made to substitute first stamped hologram partially with the second one. According to another version of method, print lacquer is applied to separate parts of foil or film provided with stamped hologram. Lacquer fills in recesses in gaps between protruding members of relief structure which form the stamped hologram. Hardened print lacquer can also be applied which lacquer prevents formation of relief structure during subsequent application of hologram. Optical elements, value documents provided with optical element and numeration apparatus for application of numbers by stamping are described. ^ EFFECT: high degree of protection; easiness of individualization of protection optical element. ^ 32 cl, 6 dwg
