<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which is arranged without adding a large amount of material having no contribution to electrical capacitance, such as a conductivity-enhancement material, to a negative electrode active material layer even in the case of using titanium-containing oxide as a negative electrode active material, which shows a small internal resistance and a small impedance, and which allows a large-current rapid charge and discharge. <P>SOLUTION: The negative electrode for a secondary battery comprises: a metal foil; a negative electrode active material layer which is formed on one or both faces of the metal foil and includes titanium-containing oxide as a negative electrode active material; and a coating film which includes a conductive material and is formed between the metal foil and the negative electrode active material layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
