<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a smoke removing system which dispenses with a smoke concentration sensor and is provided with a means of activating a smoke removing means when it is presumed that the smoke occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The smoke removing system comprises a vehicle detecting means 20 detecting a vehicle 10 passing through an entrance or exit tollgate of freeways, the smoke removing means 80 installed in the vicinity of the tollgate and removing the smoke contained in an exhaust gas of the vehicle passing through the tollgate, and an operation control means 50 operation-controlling the smoke removing means 80 depending on the clog state of the passing vehicle 10 detected by the vehicle detecting means 20. Since the smoke concentration sensor detecting or measuring the smoke in the air is not required, an installation cost, a running cost, and a maintenance cost of the smoke sensor can be cut. The kinds of basic signals which the operation control means 50 exchanges are only a vehicle detecting signal, a start-up signal, and a shutdown signal by an operating time timer, by which a lineage constitution becomes simple and the reliability increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
