<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistance allowing suppression of false detection to opening of a casing. <P>SOLUTION: The personal digital assistance includes: a rib 14 projecting to an installation direction on an inner face side of a front case 12; a plate spring member 22 having one end 22a fixed to a control board 20 installed in a rear case 13, contacting, in a state that the plate spring member 22 is elastically deformed from an abutment direction, with the rib 14 in an installation state; and a contact switch 21 contacting with the plate spring member 22 in the installation state from the abutment state, capable of detecting a noncontact state with the plate spring member 22 restored by releasing the contact with the rib 14.
