A close coupling plate for a toilet pan and cistern combination is formed with ridges 1-5 to strengthen the mild steel plate. These ridges allow thinner gage steel to be used and still guarantee a leak free seal. The ridges form depressions on the obverse face of the plate. Various configurations of ridges can be envisaged. The plate may be manufactured by stamping. |
