The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling a flash memory in which a header area and a data area are divided, the apparatus comprising: a key-generation unit for generating a master key; a storage unit for generating a file encryption key when receiving a request for storing a data file on the flash memory, encrypting the data file using the file encryption key for storage in the data area, and encrypting the file encryption key using the master key for store in the header area; and a deletion unit for deleting a data file stored in the data area when receiving a request for deleting the data file from the flash memory, and overwriting operation a page of the header area in which the file encryption key of the data file is stored. Since the deleted data file is encrypted and remains on the flash memory, and the encryption key of the data file is overwritten, the data of the file cannot be restored and leaked after the deletion operation. |
