<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the occurrence frequency of downtime during which printing is interrupted. <P>SOLUTION: A photoreceptor unit U1 includes a photoreceptor drum 7 which carries an electrostatic latent image thereon and a cleaner 15 which recovers a toner remained on the photoreceptor drum 7 after transfer of a toner image. A toner storage container B1 is constituted integrally with the photoreceptor unit U1, and stores the toner recovered by the cleaner 15. A developing unit U2 discharges a part of a stored developer and forms a toner image by applying the toner to the photoreceptor drum 7 to develop the electrostatic latent image. A developer storage container B2 is constituted integrally with the developing unit U2, and stores the developer discharged by the developing unit U2. The photoreceptor unit U1 and the toner storage container B1, and the developing unit U2 and the developer storage container B2 are attachable to/detachable from a body 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
