CARRYING FACILITY UTILIZING LINEAR MOTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of carrying facility by providing thrust in the advancing direction and lateral position regulating force simultaneously only through a pair of right and left primary coils thereby eliminating a guide rail and the like for regulating the lateral position. CONSTITUTION:A pair of right and left primary coils C are arranged to apply thrust obliquely to the advancing direction of a moving body A. When the coils C are driven to produce thrust of same magnitude in the advancing direction of the moving body A, they apply thrusts having same direction as the advancing direction of the moving body A and thrusts having reverse direction in the lateral direction onto a pair of secondary conductors D arranged at the moving body side. By such arrangement, the moving body A advances along the longitudinal direction of a carrying path with the position thereof being restricted to the intermediate section of the primary coils C where the thrusts are balanced.
