<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter and a color conversion filter which absorb light in an ultraviolet light region (250 to 400 nm). <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a dye represented by the general formula (1). In the formula: R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">8</SP>independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, an aldehyde group, a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, -NRR', a hydrocarbon group having 1-20 carbon atoms which may contain substituents, or a heterocyclic group having 1-20 carbon atoms which may contain substituents; X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>independently represent an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or an NR" group; R, R' and R" independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1-20 carbon atoms which may contain substituents, or a heterocyclic group having 1-20 carbon atoms which may contain substituents; Z and Z' represent direct binding or a divalent linking group; and n represents 0, 1 or 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
