METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING YARN COATED WITH SUPER ABSORBENT SUBSTANCE

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a yarn coated with a super absorbent substance, in which a coating of a super absorbent substance strengthens the yarn and minimizes the reduction in stretchability thereof, and additionally can increase the rate of production and reduce energy consumption. The manufacturing method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a semi-crosslinked super absorbent precursor dispersed solution, the semi-crosslinked super absorbent precursor being a polymer having a 20-80% degree of crosslinking which, by further crosslinking, is converted to a super absorbent substance; coating a yarn with the dispersed solution; and heating the yarn coated with the dispersed solution so that the super absorbent substance can form as a result of the full crosslinking of the super absorbent substance precursor.
