Provided are a wireless receiving device and program with which it is possible to estimate whether a modulo computation is necessary for a received signal without carrying out a control information notification. Propagation path information which is obtained by a data signal component which is the output of a reference signal separation unit (205) and a DM-RS which is the output of a propagation path estimation unit (206) is inputted to a modulo estimation unit (209). A first provisional estimation value series is computed with a propagation path compensation unit (221) based on transmission path information. The first provisional estimation value series is inputted into a modulo computation unit (223), the modulo computation is carried out, and a second provisional estimation value series is computed. A first propagation path estimation value based on the first provisional estimation value series and a second propagation path estimation value based on the second provisional estimation value series are derived by an assessment feedback propagation path estimation unit (222). An assessment is made by a modulo assessment unit (224) as to whether a perturbation is added to an encoding, and is used in selecting a demodulation method.
