PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed galenical extract of Pleurotus eryngii and an acanthopanacis cortex and a substance having bone growth promotion activity containing the same.

SOLUTION: A galenical extract mixture (composition) having osteoblast proliferative activity and differentiation-stimulated activity is obtained by using a water extract of Pleurotus eryngii or an extract of Pleurotus eryngii comparable to the water extract and a water extract of Acanthopanacis Cortex or an extract of Acanthopanacis Cortex comparable to the water extract.
