摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MFI type zeolite catalyst for manufacturing a lower olefin produced by the dehydration condensation reaction of an oxygenate having a long life and high selectivity property. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided an MFI type zeolite characterized in that the surface is covered with an MFI type aluminosilicate layer, the mole ratio of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O3 is 30 or larger and 100 or smaller, and the particle diameter is 10 nm or larger and 100 nm or smaller; an MFI type zeolite characterized in that the value obtained by dividing the mole ratio of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>of the MFI type aluminosilicate layer of the surface by the mole ratio of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>of the MFI type zeolite is 1.4 or larger; and a catalyst for manufacturing lower olefins produced by the dehydration condensation reaction of an oxygenate comprising the MFI type zeolites. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
