<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size and inexpressive fuse unit capable of being easily manufactured and resistance-welding with a different metal. <P>SOLUTION: A clad material 10 including a first metal layer 11 and a second metal layer 12 having an opening 20, which are laminated over the clad material 10, is rolled to press out a part of the first metal layer 11 into the opening 20. After embedding the first metal layer 11a in the opening 20, the clad material 10 is stamped out with a predetermined pattern. By stamping a first area 31 in the opening 20, a fuse portion 41 constituted of the first metal layer 11 only is formed; and by stamping the second area 32 connected to the first area 31 out of the opening 20, the second area 32 is connected to the fuse portion 41.
