<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic penetration testing machine capable of accurately applying a test load to a penetration rod. <P>SOLUTION: An inventive automatic penetration testing machine 1 includes: a lifting stage 3 capable of ascending and descending along an erected support; a penetration rod 4 which is held by a chuck 5 provided in the lifting stage 3 and penetrates the ground as the lifting stage 3 descends; a load sensor 39 which detects a load applied to the penetration rod 4; a lifting motor 8 which is used for the operation of ascending/descending of the lifting stage 3, and applies an ascending force according to a torque command value to the lifting stage 3 to apply a load equal to the value made by subtracting the ascending force from the total weight of the lifting stage 3 as a test load to the penetration rod 4; and a control unit 50 which performs feedback control of the torque command value outputted to the lifting motor 8 on the basis of the deviation between the detection value by the load sensor 39 and a target test load value. According to such an arrangement, a required test load can be applied to the penetration rod 4 stably and accurately, thus improving reliability of the penetration test. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
