<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing boron from metal silicon at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for removing boron from metal silicon, a metal silicon porous body containing boron is irradiated with plasma and melted, and then cooled under a non-oxidizing atmosphere.
