OPTICAL SEMICONDUCTOR BASED LIGHTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An optical semiconductor-based lighting device is provided to reduce the number of used semiconductor optical devices by placing the semiconductor optical devices on only an end surface while having a tub type or a rod type. CONSTITUTION: A light guide tube(10) is formed in a longitudinal direction along a center axis line(x). The light guide tube includes an end surface(12) receiving light and an outer border surface(14) emitting the light. A circular hollow hole(11) is formed in the light guide tube. A plurality of semiconductor optical devices(22) are installed to receive light on the end surface of the light guide tube. A heat sink(30) includes a radiant heat plate(31) with a PCB(21) and a radiant heat rod(32) inserted into the hollow hole of the tube.
