PURPOSE: An external use skin composition using bamboo shoot extract is provided to improve whitening and skin moisturizing and to treat acne and atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: An external use skin composition for skin whitening contains bamboo shoot powder or extract as an active ingredient. An external use skin composition for treating atopic dermatitis contains the bamboo shoot powder or extract as an active ingredient. The bamboo extract is prepared by dipping bamboo shoots in a mixture solvent of water and ethanol. The composition is a cosmetic, soap, or pharmaceutical composition. |
