<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device capable of generating an alarm by early detection of decrease in oil level while preventing unnecessary alarm. <P>SOLUTION: This alarm device, which is provided at an oil supply device comprising an oil pump sucking oil stored in an oil pan and supplying the oil to each lubricating part of an engine and detects the decrease in oil level in the oil pan to generate the alarm, comprises a warning lamp generating the alarm indicating that the oil level is decreased; and an ECU performing oil level alarm control to drive the warning lamp to generate the alarm to indicate that the oil level is decreased on condition that oil pressure P<SB POS="POST">o</SB>(kPa) becomes equal to or less than a reference oil pressure P<SB POS="POST">b</SB>(kPa) within a predetermined time t(sec) after cold start, during the cold start of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
