<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle rent management method and a vehicle rent management apparatus capable of efficiently canceling uneven localization. <P>SOLUTION: A user characteristic table stores therein a get-on location and a get-off location of a user group composed of a plurality of users and while referring to the user characteristic table, the get-on location of the user group is acquired. A parking lot management table stores therein the number of parked vehicles for each parking lot and while referring to the parking lot management table, from among parking lots close to the get-on location of the user group, a parking lot where vehicles equal to or more than a predetermined number are parked or a parking lot where vehicles most approximate to the predetermined number are parked is identified.
