<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery device charging system that keeps SOC from readily lowering and wastes no power even if there are any batteries having a lower battery capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The battery device charging system for controlling charging of a battery device 10 comprising batteries B<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-B<SB POS="POST">3</SB>connected in series includes: switches Sa<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Sa<SB POS="POST">3</SB>for connecting the batteries B<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-B<SB POS="POST">3</SB>in series; switches Sb<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Sb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>connected to a bypass line BL bypassing the batteries B<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-B<SB POS="POST">3</SB>; and an ECU 20 for detecting states of the batteries B<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-B<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and controlling the switches Sa<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Sa<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, Sb<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Sb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>in accordance with the detected states. The ECU 20 selects batteries not to be charged on the basis of the detected states of the batteries B<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-B<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, turns the switches Sa<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Sa<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and the switches Sb<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-Sb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>pertinent to the batteries off and on, respectively, to bypass the batteries, and charges the other batteries. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
