<p>PURPOSE: A touch panel and a touch panel embedded display device is provided to control space between an X electrode and a Y electrode by forming an injection electrode and a detection electrode on surfaces which are different from each other. CONSTITUTION: Detection electrodes(202) cross injection electrodes(201). A first unit connects the injection electrodes to a constant-current source(1106) in a first injection period. A second unit detects a touch location on a touch panel based on the change of the detected current. The injection electrodes and the detection electrodes are formed on surfaces which are different from each other and include a stripe shape.
