<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which secures air tightness of connection between a dust collector side and a body case side. <P>SOLUTION: The dust collecting apparatus includes a dust collection suction opening. The dust collecting apparatus includes a dust collection exhaust opening at the same side as the dust collection suction opening. The body case 25 includes a communication opening 45 which is communicated with the dust collection suction opening in a direction crossing an air passage toward the suction side of an electric blower when the dust collecting apparatus is attached to the body case 25. The body case 25 includes a suction opening 44 which is communicated with the suction side of the electric blower at a position different from the communication opening 45 in the direction crossing the air passage toward the suction side of the electric blower and communicated with the dust collection exhaust opening when the dust collector is attached to the body case 25. The body case 25 includes a guide part 46 near the suction opening 44, which guides the dust collecting apparatus in a direction for pressing the dust collection exhaust opening to the suction opening 44 when the dust collecting apparatus is attached to the body case 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
