PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture wherein a difference between brightness of a projection face of the fixture main body and brightness of a ceiling face in the vicinity of the fixture main body can be reduced and a visual environment can be improved. SOLUTION: This is equipped with a side plate 15 which is installed independently from the fixture main body 3 having a reflecting function that reflects the light from a lamp 2 and having a function that transmits the light from the lamp 2 and which is arranged so as to cover a side direction of a lower space of the fixture main body 3 keeping a constant distance away from a side face 11a that is in the vicinity of the ceiling face A of a reflection face 11 of the fixture main body 3. Accordingly, a part of the light from the lamp 2 is made possible to be transmitted to the outside of the side plate 15, and the brightness of the ceiling face A in the vicinity of the fixture main body 3 can be increased. This is how the difference between the brightness of the projection face of the fixture main body 3 and the brightness of the ceiling face A in the vicinity of the fixture main body 3 can be reduced, thus a feeling of thinness of the lighting fixture 1a can be enhanced, and the visual environment can be improved.
