A system for diagnosing the cocking of a plasma synthetic gas reformer is provided to prevent occurrence of discharge between electrodes of the reformer due to the cocking by accurately detecting the degree of cocking generated or accumulated around the electrodes. A system for diagnosing the cocking of a plasma synthetic gas reformer includes a heater(10), a combustion chamber(11), a generator FSA(12), and a plasma tron(13) in which an OBD(On-Board Diagnostic,14) is installed. The OBD is an opacimeter to measure the degree of cocking generated or accumulated around electrodes of the plasma synthetic gas reformer. The opacimeter generates an alarm signal when the measured cocking degree exceeds a reference value of 3mg/m^3. |
