<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal magnetic powder manufacturing technology which improves oxidation resistance while maintaining a magnetic characteristic regardless of a fine particle in particular. <P>SOLUTION: The metal magnetic powder manufacturing method exposes powder of iron oxyhydroxide (α-FeOOH, where, a portion of Fe can be substituted with another element) containing a sintering inhibitor element to a weak reducing atmosphere, stops the progress of reductive reaction at a stage where a portion of an individual particle is reduced to metallic iron (α-Fe, where, a portion of Fe can be substituted with another element), then, exposes the powder to a weak oxidizing atmosphere to thereby combine wustite (FeO, where, a portion of Fe can be substituted with another element), and applies reductive heat treatment to the wustite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
