<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the intended vibration characteristics without causing any abnormality when a piezoelectric exciter including a cantilever beam is used while being attached to a panel for excitation. <P>SOLUTION: For a beam support member 30 supporting a beam 20 in cantilever, a base plate 40 is fixed in contact with the undersurface thereof. The base plate 40 has a substantially U-shaped sectional form including a pair of right and left sidewalls 44 rising on both right and left sides of the beam support member 30, and extends to the free end side of the beam 20 up to a position in the way thereof while maintaining that sectional form. Consequently, the stress does not concentrate on the end of the base plate 40 on the free end side even if the vibration force increases. Furthermore, the possibility that the free end of the beam 20 abuts against the base plate 40 is lowered, and the risk of causing discomfort to the tactile when pressing a panel 2 for excitation, or peel-off of the base plate 40 is eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
