PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can avoid an output that is not intended by a user based on the settings of attribution of a recording medium and of post-processing means, and to provide a program.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: a management unit 82 that manages the setting of the attribution of a sheet and a post-processing part 50 to be correlated; an analysis unit 83 that analyzes a content of a printing job; and a decision unit 84 that determines whether printing can be executed in accordance with the content of the printing job based on the setting of the attribution of the recording medium and of the post-processing part 50. An alarm is displayed on a UI screen 61 when the decision unit 84 determines that the printing cannot be executed in a request following the printing job.
