PURPOSE: A service interruption method in a femto cell base station and femto cell base station therefor are provided to restrict the new connection of a portable terminal and maintain the service of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A femto cell base station executes a service(S203). The femto cell base station confirms the existence of the connected portable terminal and broadcasts an SIB3(System Information Block3) message(S213). When the portable terminal is connected, the femto cell base station forcibly terminates the connection of the connected terminal by terminating an RF(Radio Frequency) function until the end of call restriction time(S215,S219).
