<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit with a cap easily mounted to an outer ring opening and having a good sealing property in a mounting state. <P>SOLUTION: This hub unit 1 comprises an outer ring member 2, inner ring members 3, 4, and a rolling body train 5. A cap 10 has a cap body 10f, a cap flange 10b, and a cap fixing part 10a. One or both of the cap flange 10b and an circumferential face 21a of an outer ring opening 21h is/are inclined relative to a plane S perpendicular to an axial line X, so that the cap flange 10b comes into contact with the circumferential face 21a of the outer ring opening 21h along an entire periphery in a circumferential direction in an energizing and deforming state that an energization force opposed to a fitting direction is applied to the cap flange 10b from the circumferential face 21a of the outer ring opening 21h the flange is elastically deformed in the energization direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
