The invention relates to a device for axially fixing a rotational solid between opposite frame walls, said device comprising a retainer arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on one of the frame walls. One end of the rotational solid to be axially fixed is rotatably retained in said retainer, wherein a plurality of rollers is arranged along a first circumferential line of the retainer. Each of said rollers is eccentrically mounted, wherein respective lateral faces of said rollers can be placed against a mounting element connected to the frame wall. The retainer is arranged supported by an abutment against the mounting element parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotational solid, wherein the rotational solid can be axially fixed by clamping the mounting element between the abutment of the retainer and the respective lateral faces of the rollers placed against the mounting element. The invention also relates to a method for axially fixing a rotational solid arranged between opposite frame walls, in which one end of the rotational solid is held on one of the frame walls by a retainer, wherein first rollers arranged on the retainer along a first circumferential line are placed against a mounting element connected to the frame wall, wherein said mounting element connected to the frame wall is clamped between respective lateral faces of the first rollers and an abutment supporting the retainer on the mounting element on the retainer, wherein the rotational solid is axially fixed by said clamping of the mounting element. |
