There is a liq. barrier between the fabric and the tape which is used to attach the fabric to the patient. The fabric and tape are joined together via an adhesive material which is present from the beginning and is arranged to go through a heat treatment. The operation fabric comprises a layer of green nonwoven which is laminated with a PVC material layer. The tape which holds the dressing in place on the patient, comprises a barrier with an adhesive layer. Layer has a removable protective layer which is taken off before use. There is also a dressing layer and a barrier layer. The protective layer is removed before the tape is attached to the patient. (Provisional Basic previously advised in week 8520) |
