PURPOSE:To prevent energy efficiency from being lowered by partitioning the space inside the module with a large number of double cylindrical tubes and making either the external cylinder or internal cylinder of hydrophobic membrane which accepts gas penetrated and rejects liquid to be penetrated. CONSTITUTION:The liquid heated up by the outside heat exchanger or the like is guided into the space 1 of internal cylindrical tube made of hydrophobic porous membrane, which forms one of double cylindrical tubes installed in the cylindrical container. Also, the liquid cooled by the outside heat exchanger and the like is guided into the outer circumference space 2 of the external cylindrical tube. Because of the difference of vapor pressure between the two liquids, the liquid on the higher temperature side passes through the hydrophobic porous membrane 3 as vapor, cooled and condensed by the inner wall face of external cylindrical tube and sent down in the form of drip lets through the space 5 between the inner and outer cylindrical tubes to reach the module outlet 6. The flow channel is never closed with the condensed liquid, and the energy loss caused by the closing of channel is not enlarged, which accelerates evaporation.
