PURPOSE:To stably read information on a card without fail by adjusting light receiving sensitivity in accordance with the intensity of external light. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 generally controls each part according to a control procedure stored in a ROM 2. A RAM 3 temporarily stores inputted key-input information and control information. Based on an output from a light receiving element 7a, a clock input circuit 4 outputs a carrier clock signal to the CPU 1, while a signal input circuit 5 outputs the key-input information according to an output from a light receiving element 7b. A signal output circuit 6 excites a coil 6a. The CPU 1 detects incident external light so as to adjust the light receiving sensitivity in accordance with luminous energy, and simultaneously decides the front or back of a control card.
